Great hotel/motel. Great staff. The rooms and property was very clean. The furniture desperately needs to be upgraded. I would definitely stay again.
I've stayed here a couple of times. Could not have asked for more. Was nice, clean and had everything I needed. Easy to book a room. The price is right. The people behind the desk were very nice, and helpful. The built in restaurant is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again. But, Peanut the dog isn't there to greet customers anymore.
Overall very happy w/ the hotel for the price. Really liked the recent remodel. Only constructive criticisms -- would be nice if there were more breakfast options and room cleaning started a bit later.
Always where we stay when we go to Bloomfield. Not fancy, but clean and well cared for and accept our dog. The motel is great, but you really need to try the grill- have yet to order anything that was not perfect! I don't think you can go wrong with staying in the motel or eating in the grill or BOTH!

My mom and sister stayed here last year on their way to Houston, MO. Mom had been so impressed with the kindness of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms I decided to make this our halfway stop for her to rest overnight while on our annual trip to Houston. I, too, am impressed with their kindness and cleanliness. Thank you for providing a clean, safe, affordable place for your guests to stay. As for the comments about this motel being dated…I think it is part of the charm and welcoming feel. I hope they don’t lose that hometown feel after finishing their updates.
This restaurant was the best experience. Great food, great prices and great service. The hotel was dated but very clean and quiet. Good beds. This will be a stop for us every time we come to Iowa!
